This is because, when you open the tray and put the food into the cat’s bowl, the little chunks in gravy are underneath, and the paté on top. Always provide fresh water in a bowl placed at some distance from the food bowl. On the basis of metabolic differences in individual cats, the quantities given for the normal requirement may be reduced or increased by up to 15%. Junior cats should be weighed regularly and the feed quantities adjusted accordingly.
