Description
Chemical Pen Test
Draw a small mark on a light or unprinted area of the banknote. If the mark remains light, yellowish, or nearly clear, this may indicate that the note is genuine. If the mark turns dark brown or black, the note may be suspicious. The mark normally fades after several hours.
UV Light Test
Turn on the built-in UV light and direct it toward the security areas of the banknote. The ultraviolet light can help reveal fluorescent fibers, security markings, and security threads found in some genuine currencies.
