Disconnect the power: Unplug the device or make sure it is completely switched off before starting.

Identify the head attachment system:

Direct pull system: Hold the device handle with one hand and the metal head base with the other, then pull it straight out with moderate force without twisting.

Twist-lock system: Turn the metal head half a turn counterclockwise, then pull it out.

Install the new head:

Align the replacement head shaft with the designated opening in the device.

Push it firmly into place until you hear a “click” indicating it is secured, or turn it clockwise if it uses a twist-lock system.

Check the installation: Make sure the head is firmly attached before operating the device.
