The novels tell of Greg Heffley, a boy who writes his school diary, his adventures with his friends and family, and the funny details of his daily life. Since its online release in 2004, the story has been critically acclaimed and so popular with readers all over the world that Jeff released a print version of Poor Boy in 2007. A film of the same name based on the first novel was released in 2010, followed by a second and third installment in 2011. and 2012.
