Not only is she the new kid, she also looks different from everyone else at the school. But with her kind big heart she finds a way to make friends with any person. She discovers that underneath our physical appearances we are all essentially the same. We all may feel lonely without friends, and we all feel happy to have a good friend.
In order to grow up as a fair person, children must be familiarized with the concept of racism so they would understand why it is wrong, and how to identify prejudice and correct the belief in the right manner.
